Circa 1922

The original Ed Young service station was a wooden structure that burnt down sometime in the mid 1920s. The station was rebuilt a few year later using petrified wood, limestone, fossils, brick.

Circa 1928

The Young Service Station was rebuilt in the same location as the original structure. The original naturally pressurized will can be seen in the foreground.
A tourist motor court was added to the property to house guests on their roadtrip journey.
